- The Rangers are expecting to be sellers before the trade deadline comes up in July. Names mentioned include Kevin Millwood, Vicente Padilla, Hank Blalock, Frank Catalanotto, Milton Bradley, Gerald Laird, Marlon Byrd, Jamey Wright, and Joaquin Benoit.

- The Royals have shot down the idea of signing Frank Thomas or Barry Bonds.

- The Rays could take C Buster Posey with the first pick of the draft.

- Brandon Inge is upset with the Cabrera/Guillen position switch.

- Bonds has not received any contract offers. They expect someone to sign him at some point.

- They note a few transactions: Dan Johnson DFA by Rays - he didn't even play in a game; Rajai Davis was claimed by the A's; Josh Banks was claimed by the Padres.
