Yesterday's Rumors from MLB Trade Rumors
- Brandon Webb and the D'Backs are close to an extension which will keep there ace in Arizona past 2010.
- The Rockies asked the Cardinals about Anthony Reyes while they were in Colorado. His name has been thrown in with Josh Fogg and Julian Tavarez.
- Team USA is going to pass on Roger Clemens and the drama he brings.
- Mark Mulder will be shut down for 7-10 with a rotator cuff strain on his latest comeback attempt.
- The Pirates acquired Jason Michaels from the Indians for a PTBNL and the Phillies acquired Stephen Randolph from the Astros for a PTBNL.
- The Brewers placed Derrick Turnbow on waivers; he'll either go to Triple A or declare for free agency (and lose the money that is owed to him).
- As previously rumored, Ben Broussard has been DFA.
- The Padres could release slumping OF Jim Edmonds. It'd be sad to see after all the great years he's had.
