Baseball Rumors from MLB Trade Rumors:

- The Braves traded for Greg Norton, who was DFA by the Mariners. He'll bat of the bench.
- The Cardinals are open to extension talk with Kyle Lohse and are not interested in Barry Bonds.
- Juan Encarnacion's baseball career was probably ended by the line drive he took to the face last year.
- The Yankees are already planning on making a run for free agent pitcher Derek Lowe.
- The Tigers have released Jacque Jones.
- The Cubs would like to add a left handed hitting OF.
- The Rangers asked for Mike Pelfrey, Aaron Heilman and Deolis Gerra for Vicente Padilla this offseason.
- Juan Uribe is expected to be released by the White Sox soon.
- The Astros were talking to Roger Clemens during the off season about coming back to Houston.
- The Rockies are looking for a starter; names being thrown around are Josh Fogg, Julian Tavarez, Kevin Millwood and Rich Harden.
- Joe Blanton is off the trading table.
- Rafael Furcal said he will test the free agent waters if he doesn't have an extension by mid-season.
- Japanese catcher may be coming to the Red Sox if Visa problems are worked out.
